IENE 2026 brings together an outstanding line-up of researchers, practitioners, policymakers, infrastructure managers and environmental leaders from across Europe and beyond. Representing government agencies, academia, consultancy, industry and conservation organisations, our speakers will share the latest thinking, evidence and practical experience on ecological connectivity, nature recovery and nature-positive infrastructure.

Across five days of keynote presentations, technical sessions, workshops and panel discussions, delegates will hear from experts working at the forefront of transport ecology, biodiversity conservation, landscape connectivity, climate resilience and infrastructure planning. Together, they will explore how knowledge can be translated into action, how partnerships can accelerate delivery, and how nature can be placed at the heart of infrastructure decision-making.

The conference programme features a diverse range of voices, from established international leaders to emerging researchers and practitioners, creating opportunities for learning, discussion and collaboration across disciplines and sectors.

We are delighted to welcome them to Bristol and thank them for contributing their expertise, insights and experience to IENE 2026.
